You've come across Satellite already. Move over the items on the menu to the left, and you'll see text descriptions in the panel below. That's Satellite at work.

Satellite is a small applet that intercepts messages sent by other Cool Focus applets and responds accordingly. That response may be to display some text, or to show an image, or both. Text can include simple HTML tags such as <b>, <i> <font color> and <p>.
