Marquee offers the expected choices of font, background and text colors, and scroll direction, plus two parameters to fine-tune the scroll speed. When used as a link the text can gain an HTML-style underline, and focus & press colors, along with a hand-cursor. Optional masks (shown in the example) can blur the edges of the applet. The applet can also be transparent in compatible browsers.
