Gemini is a menu applet that can take either of two identities (or, indeed, a combination of both). At its simplest, Gemini is a column of images that function as linking buttons to different URLs. Each image in the column can be different, if desired, and Gemini can handle an unlimited number of these buttons. Every 'slot' in this column can respond to focused and pressed states by displaying alternative images. These images can optionally be 'sticky' - when pressed, a button can stay pressed until a different button is selected.Gemini's second role is that of drop-down menu: the buttons continue to perform exactly as above, but when a button is pressed, a column of links will be displayed below it. These links can be text links, with an optional selector bar appearing over the focused entry as a box, panel or 3D button. A new feature in version 2.0 allows these sub-links to be more 3-stage images if preferred.
Like all linking Cool Focus applets, Gemini supports Smart Cursors and Scripted Links. A Testmode feature makes it easy to set the correct applet dimensions.
